CSRC has a robust and flourishing tennis program for all ages and ability levels. Our club offers 7 courts- 5 hard, 2 clay and 4 that are lighted for after sunset play. Players can work with our head pro Adam Maskill or his assistant head pro Kevin Galloway to develop stroke skills and game strategies in private or semi-private lessons and group clinics. Adam & Kevin are dedicated to improving player’s games at each level while also ensuring everyone has fun. A ball machine is available for those looking for more time on the court.
Our Men’s tennis program spends as much time acing opponents as they do enjoying each other’s company. Night clinics are available with both Adam and Kevin. Men’s teams compete at both USTA and Queen City interclub levels. Our men’s tennis program focuses on both singles and doubles play strategies with live ball drills.
CSRC Women’s tennis is a fun array of all ages and abilities. In the Queen City league, CSRC fields 5 teams encompassing around 70 women who play during the day on Wednesday or Thursday. Several USTA teams also compete throughout the year. Team tennis clinics are offered twice a week based on skill level. Women can also join in various clinics provided at night time.
Our junior program welcomes children from the ages of 5-18 years old with clinics designed for every age and ability level. Junior clinics focus on the fundamental development of tennis skills, preparing for match play, 8U/10U/12U/tennis and most importantly, the joy of playing tennis. The junior program also offers Sunday match play for players ages 8+ (seasonally) with twice weekly drills for team members. Junior teams compete in USTA Jr. Team Tennis seasonally and CSRC offers 10U, 12U, 14U, and 18U teams in beginner and intermediate levels.
Our Summer Jr. Tennis Camp is popular every year! Camps are offered weekly throughout the summer for children ages 6-18 years old. Camp ratios are 8:1 for campers under the age of 10 and 10:1 for campers who participate in team tennis or school tennis (children 10 years +). Half day and full day camps are offered weekly (half day camp recommended for children under the age of 8). Campers also have the opportunity to swim and grab lunch for 90 minutes!
