2023 Dive Team Coaches
Emma Groves- Head Coach
Emma graduated from Myers Park High School in June 2022 and is attending the University of Georgia, majoring in biology. She previously dove at Myers Park High School, Sardis Swim & Racquet, and CSRC for many seasons. This is Emma’s second season as head coach, after previously serving as a junior coach and then assistant coach. Emma is very excited to be back coaching another year and can’t wait for this season!!
Nancy Humphreys- Assistant Coach
Nancy graduated from Myers Park High School in June 2022 and is attending NC State University. She dove at Myers Park High School for 4 years and was a captain her senior year. She dove at CSRC for 9 seasons. This is her second year coaching and she is extremely excited to coach the team again this year!
Kevin Foster- Assistant Coach
Kevin graduated from Myers Park High School in June 2022 and attends North Carolina State University, majoring in Graphic Design. He previously dove at Myers Park High School and dove at CSRC for over 10 seasons. This is Kevin’s second year coaching and he can’t wait for this summer season!
James Gourlay- Assistant Coach
James graduated from South Mecklenburg High School in June 2022 and is attending Davidson College, majoring in Political Science. He previously dove at Myers Park High School, South Mecklenburg High School, and Carolina Diving Academy for many seasons. He is currently diving for Davidson. This is James’s first year coaching and is excited for this summer season!
