COVID-19 POOL POLICIES

When in conflict with any other standard CSRC Policies, the COVID-19 Policies supersede any others.

  1. Please visit our COVID Guidelines page on our website to view our most up-to-date policies
  2. Please note the NC Governor’s executive orders, CDC/OSHA regulations, and ordinances in force with Mecklenburg County, and the City of Charlotte should be followed at all times and, if stricter, overrule any differing or less strict guidance provided herein.
  3. Participation in any CSRC programming is voluntary and optional. Swimmers should carefully consider what is in the best interest for their own (and their families’) health and safety before participating in any CSRC programming.
  4. Not following these guidelines and requirements may result in removal from the facilities.
  5. These guidelines, policies, and procedures will remain in place until further notice.  CSRC reserves the right to modify these guidelines, policies, and procedures as COVID-19 conditions develop, and as governmental guidance and regulations change.
  6. Do not use the facilities if you are feeling unwell, have a fever or any other COVID-like symptoms.
  7. When arriving at CSRC and at all times within the facility, per NC guidelines, please maintain at least 6 to 10 feet of distance from all individuals who are not household or family members.
  8. Give lifeguards a 6 foot perimeter when they are stationed in chairs.
  9. The use of masks is fully supported, but not required.  Please respect each individual in his/her choice whether to wear a mask.
  10. Medical grade hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance and is recommended for everyone entering the facility.
  11. Remember to wash your hands regularly for at least 20 seconds each time.
  12. All members must utilize the online portal to make a pool reservation.  No Walkups will be granted access.
  13. Members must check in/out at front guard shack upon entry/exit at the main gate so that we may manage capacity limits/requirements.  Please do not enter or exit without following this process.
    1. Max Member Capacity is currently 120 people not including guards, snack bar, and other personnel.
    2. Please honor social distancing while waiting in line and make room for people exiting the facility.
    3. Thank you in advance for your patience.  We will do everything possible to expedite the check-in process.
  14. Upon arrival, find a set of chairs for your family to use for the duration of your visit.  Please do not move around to other chairs as we are only cleaning furniture between sessions.
  15. Restrooms are available for using the bathroom and washing hands. They will be cleaned between each swim session as well as a nightly deep clean. We recommend arriving at the facility in your swimsuit and leaving the facility afterwards without changing in the restrooms.   We also discourage using the showers.
  16. Communal water coolers have been removed.  Please bring your own water or it can be purchased from the snack bar.
  17. Water will be available for purchase at the snack bar.
  18. All chairs and tables must be spaced at least 6 feet away from other families or groups. Please do not move furniture.
  19. All furniture will be sprayed by the staff between pool sessions, but we still recommend spraying or wiping down your furniture before and after use, and bring a towel to sit on for additional protection.  Sanitizer will be available, but it’s never a bad idea to bring your own.
  20. Children under the age of 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult or an assigned guardian who is at least 15 years old.
  21. Children must maintain social distancing when playing with others.  After being warned, if they cannot abide by this requirement, they will be asked to leave.
  22. Before, during, or after a swim session, members should not congregate on deck, in bathrooms, at entrances/exits, or in parking lots.
  23. Please limit the items brought into the facility.
